El Credito Cigars
The El Credito series of cigars share the same level of quality as the premium vitolas of Davidoff and Dunhill brandings.
The family Carrillo (originally from Cuba) were the proud makers of La Gloria Cubana in Cuba before Fidel Castro came to power and at that time Ernesto Carrillo senior was in the senate of the Cuban Government and had to escape to save his life and his family.
As did many of the Cuban makers like Davidoff and Dunhill, they took their Cuban seed and moved to Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and other South American regions to replant and reblend and all have created types that even exceed many of the original Cuban cigars.
As the Cuban government had taken over the rights to the La Gloria Cubana name, Ernesto Carrillo rebranded that name for his production to “EL CREDITO”
(The Credit).
El Credito was launched in Australia in 2000 in a robusto and a torpedo style and the following year a limited edition of 100 boxes of a figurado was produced for the 1st Anniversary of the brand in Australia.
Each box contains 10 cigars, all in individual cedar boxes.
Each full box is personally signed by Ernesto Carrillo Jnr.
This special
and rare cigar
is now 8 year aged, resulting in a deliciously smooth draw with notes of sweet spiciness, herbs and has a soft finish.
This is a delightful cigar to enjoy with a fruity red wine (Merlot or similar) or a favoured cognac, port or single malt scotch.
Enjoy the experience of this wonderful cigar…. |
